We had a fantastic group vacation! The staff were amazing, and the Deluxe Room was pure luxury. We loved spending time in the Games Room and went for walks in the New Forest. A special shoutout to the friendly service during our meals—especially enjoyed the vegan options! a great family atmosphere.

One downside was the smaller rooms, which could use a bit of modernising. But it didn't detract from our stay too much.

I stayed here for four nights and loved how the beautiful garden created a perfect setting for unwinding after a day spent exploring the nearby landmarks like the Church of St John the Baptist, which is just over 2 km away, and the expansive Roydon Woods Nature Reserve, about 5 km from the hotel.

Oh, the oysters! Fresh, briny bliss just got my taste buds dancing. The cocktails were a fab highlight too, making our evenings feel extra special. Plus, the outdoor play area kept the kids grinning from ear to ear!

The service was a bit of a slog during peak times, and those sausages at breakfast? Nice, but could use some artisan flair and maybe a touch of black pudding too.
